What are the limits of the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee?
- We cannot accept a return if the vehicle has been modified or altered from the condition it was received in.
- If you drive the vehicle more than 500km during the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee period, the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee does not apply.
- The 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee is not available if the vehicle has been in an accident or is damaged, therefore the damaged car renders guarantee unavailable
- You must provide clear and unencumbered title to the vehicle.
- You must return the vehicle in person to the blinkr location it was purchased from at your expense.
- You are eligible to return a maximum of 2 vehicles in any 12-month period under this 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee.
- Risk in relation to the vehicle remains with you until blinkr confirms that you are eligible for the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee and blinkr accepts return of the vehicle at a blinkr site.
- You are responsible, and blinkr accepts no liability, for any loss or damage which may occur during transit of the vehicle, even where blinkr arranges or facilitates the return of the vehicle.
- You are responsible for all parking fines, penalties and/or road traffic infringements while the vehicle is in your possession,
Returns & refunds
How does the refund process work?
Once we have checked the vehicle over and decide that it is acceptable to return, we will start the refund process. We process all refunds within 48 hours. Once a refund has been processed, it takes 3-7 working days for the money to go back into your account. This is due to the amount of time needed for the bank to process your refund.
The refund is for the purchase price of the vehicle only (including on-roads). Any additional products that have been purchased or added to the vehicle including vehicle protections, tints and/or accessories are:
- non-refundable under the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee and will be subject to any refund policy provided with that product; and
- must be capable of being removed so that the vehicle can be returned in the same condition it was in before it was purchased.
If the products cannot be removed, then the refund may not be available under the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee. blinkr will not be liable to refund the cost of the products to you if we do accept the return of the vehicle.
If the vehicle is encumbered and you want to return the vehicle, blinkr reserve the right to pay all or part of the refundable amount to a financier to discharge the encumbrance. If the refundable amount is not sufficient to discharge any encumbrance over the vehicle and you elect not to pay the balance owed to discharge the encumbrance, then the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee is not available. Any costs which have been incurred with the financier in connection with your purchase of the vehicle are your responsibility.
If I return my car, will I get my trade in vehicle back at the same time?
If you decide to return your vehicle within the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee period, we will not be able to give you back your original traded vehicle. We will do our best to help you find an alternative vehicle. Otherwise, we will pay you the cash equivalent of the part exchange via bank transfer.
Our decision on all matters relating to the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee is final. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions or discontinue the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee at any time. If we discontinue the 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee, we will still process claims made before that date and issue refunds if those claims are accepted.
The 48-Hour Money Back Guarantee is in addition to, and does not replace or limit, your statutory rights (including, if you live in Australia, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law).
